At the beginning of The Dragon Reborn, Valda is near Tar Valon.
In the Crown of Swords prologue, Eamon Valda enters Pedron Niall's office just after Abdel Omerna has stabbed Niall, and immediately kills Omerna for his treason.
At the beginning of Crossroads of Twilight, Valda is with a band of over nine thousand Whitecloaks in Amadicia, having managed to escape from the Seanchan conquest of Amador.
At the beginning of Knife of Dreams, Eamon Valda is the Lord Captain Commander of the Whitecloaks, and is at his headquarters, a hunting lodge in Amadicia. When Trom arrives, in company with Galad and others, and asks if the Trial Beneath The Light may be invoked, he agrees, claiming to wish to preserve the old ways. He seems unsurprised at Galad bringing the challenge against him, and he accepts it while denying the charge of murdering Morgase Trakand. In a private word before the Trial begins, he tells Galad that he didn't kill Morgase, though he claims to have slept with her. He does well against Galad, until a ploy taking advantage of his overconfidence leads him to make a fatal mistake.
