The Hogwarts Express is a steam passenger train which travels between Platform Nine And Three Quarters at King's Cross railway station in London and the railway station outside Hogwarts. It brings students to Hogwarts at the beginning of the school year, and brings them home at the end; presumably it also takes them to London and back for the holidays.
