TrajectoryEdit

At the beginning of The Fires of Heaven, Morgase is besotted with her lover, Lord Gaebril, who is urging her to go after the Sun Throne of Cairhien. She is dressing provocatively to please Gaebril, who seems almost to order her around. In FOH 6, Lanfear tells Rand that she is under Rahvin's thrall.

At the beginning of A Crown of Swords, Morgase is a prisoner in all but name in the Fortress of The Light in Amador. She has been forced to sign documents granting powers to the Whitecloaks in Andor, and Galad is being kept away from her.

At the beginning of Crossroads of Twilight, Morgase is thought to be dead after the fall of the Fortress of The Light to the Seanchan.

At the beginning of Knife of Dreams, she is still thought to be dead. Her stepson Galad challenges Eamon Valda to a Trial Beneath The Light, thinking Valda killed her, and defeats him.
