The Players are two braids of ler, the Perklaren and Terklaren Klanhs. They were the first to use the braid family structure, up to a hundred years before it was widespread among the ler. They are reaching or close to their fourteenth generations by 2550 AD.
Their main aim in life seems to be playing the Game, Zan, and apart from that they keep to themselves.
