Sphinx

A mythical creature that demands an answer to their riddle before letting passerby leave. Notable sphinx include the Greek Mythology sphinx who asked Oedipus the following riddle: "What has one voice and becomes four-footed, two-footed, and three-footed?" The answer being a man: first as a baby on all fours, then standing on two legs, and in old age relying on a third leg, a cane.
